Following a recent service review, support to Community Planning now falls within the new Democratic Services section of Glasgow City Council.
As part of the review, we are re-organising the way we supports the ten local Community Planning Partnerships in Glasgow. We are moving to a structure of three support offices instead of the current five. These offices will service the following local partnerships:
North West:
West
Central & West
Maryhill/Kelvin & Canal
North East:
Glasgow North East
Baillieston, Shettleston & Greater Easterhouse
East Centre & Calton
South:
Govan & Craigton
Greater Pollok and Newlands Auldburn
Pollokshields & Southside Central
Langside & Linn
The first change took place on 11 January 2011 when we located our entire South support team to the Adelphi Centre in Gorbals. Our office at Strata House closed. Contact details for the Adelphi Centre can be found here.
On Monday 28 February 2011, our North office in Charles Street closed. The suppport functions carried out by the staff will now be split by our North West and North East offices at the Mercat Building and Blairtummock House respectively.
