Community Planning in Glasgow is broken down into 10 separate local Community Planning Partnership areas. Each local Partnership have some decision making powers, and are governed by the local Boards. Further information is available on the structures and management of the local partnerships.

Glasgow Community Planning Ltd supports the work of both the Glasgow CPP and each of the 10 local Boards. GCP Ltd has a network of offices across the city. The company is structured around 5 Community Planning administrative areas. Each of these areas serve 2 local Community Planning Partnerships. In addition to the area based partnerships, GCP Ltd also currently manages the big step. This partnerships address issues of young care leavers across the city. Other thematic partnerships GARA (Glasgow Anti-Racist Alliance) and Glasgow Equalities Partnership (GEP) are both supported by the Community Planning Partnership.
