Youth Employability & Transition Support (YETS)
YETS is an innovative guidance and employability preparation and job matching programme which provides 16-19 year olds from the South West Glasgow with the skills and support they need to get a job. YETS (part of Glasgow South West Regeneration Agency) also provides a six month work placement opportunity for young people in an occupation of their choice. Trainees are paid a real wage and supported by a committed mentor as well as our YOUTH SERVICES staff.

The main goal of the programme is to progress young people into sustainable full-time employment and over the period that the programme has been running there have been many positive outcomes, with trainees securing employment in industries such as City Council Apprenticeships, Customer Services, construction, administration, warehousing, retail, motor mechanics, childcare, hairdressing and much more.
