ESOL Network Coordinator

A partnership initiative designed to coordinate ESOL (English for speakers of other languages) provision in the South East of Glasgow and give people for whom English is not their first language access to top quality language training is being spearheaded by Langside College.  It is funded by the local Community Planning Partnership through the Fairer Scotland Fund.

Robin Ashton from Langside College explains: "A comprehensive survey flagged up a shortage of English language courses and the need to coordinate and publicise ESOL provision and ensure quality."

"The aim of this initiative is to give everyone living in the South East the chance to easily access top quality ESOL provision."
