About the South East Area

The Glasgow Community Planning Partnership (CPP) was formed in February 2004 to take forward the city's approach to Community Planning. At the same time, a network of local Community Planning Partnerships were also set up across the City to plan services at a local level. This included establishing the two local partnerships in the South East.

The two local Community Planning Partnerships are tasked with delivering the five key objectives of Community Planning across the South East of the City. The objectives are:
  • a working Glasgow
  • a learning Glasgow
  • a vibrant Glasgow
  • a healthy Glasgow
  • a safe Glasgow

A wide range of organisations are involved in Community Planning in the South East of the City. Details of the range of partners involved locally can be found in the Local Partnerships area of the site.

This section provides details of what the activities and objectives of the two local partnerships, as well as details of the the role of the support staff who assist Community Planning in the South East. Please use the navigation options above left to explore more about what we do in the South East to deliver Community Planning.
