Welcome to the East Area Homepage

Welcome to the home pages of the East Area. Please browse through our local mini-site to find out more about how Community Planning is delivered across the East of the City.

The East of the City covers the two local Community Planning Partnership areas of East Centre & Calton and Baillieston, Shettleston, and Greater Easterhouse and is home to 124,000 residents. Please view the local area maps to learn more about the local area boundaries.

The work of the two local partnerships and the support team for Community Planning are explained in more details within this mini-site. Please spend some time to explore these pages. We are keen to enage with both local residents and partner bodies within the East area to help improve services. You can keep in touch with us by visiting the 'contact us' part of the site above.

Please note that support to local Community Planning Structures has recently changed. This mini-site will be restructured in due course. In the mean time, please visit our local news page for further information on the changes.
