The Govan & Craigton Local Community Planning Partnership (LCPP) area covers the two new council multi-member wards of Govan and Craigton, and has a population of just over 60,000 persons. It is one of the ten local CPP areas in Glasgow. 

Govan & Craigton includes the following local neighbourhoods;

• Greater Govan
• Bellahouston
• Craigton
• North Cardonald
• Crookston
• South Cardonald
• Corkerhill
• Ibrox
• Kingston
• Mosspark
• North Pollok
• Penilee

Together with Greater Pollok & Newlands / Auldburn, Govan & Craigton forms the South West Area. The South West area is served locally by a dedicated team of staff from Glasgow Community Planning Ltd.
