There are ten Local Community Planning Partnerships (LCPPs) in Glasgow. Glasgow Community Planning Ltd has organised into five area teams, each of which assists in the delivery of Community Planning across two local Community Planning Partnerships (LCPPs).

The South East Area team supports the two local Community Planning Partnership structures of:

• Langside & Linn; and 
• Pollokshields & Southside Central

The South East Area is home to 101,000 people,

It is a large and diverse area with residents experiencing varied socio-economic conditions, from those neighbourhoods experiencing multiple deprivation and poverty, to those of relative affluence. The South East Area contains a mixture of traditional established neighbourhoods sitting along side new build developments, as well as those areas that have undergone extensive physical regeneration in recent times.
