The Ethnic Minority Law Centre (EMLC) has been providing specialist legal advice and representation to Black & Minority Ethnic (BME) communities in Glasgow for almost 20 years. Services are provided in a culturally sensitive and bilingual setting, in order to deliver a comprehensive package of legal advice, assistance and representation to clients.
The EMLC supports BME communities to access their rights by combating discrimination, advancing equality, and assisting clients to gain full access to their human and legal rights, thereby promoting overall social inclusion.
The Centre also aims to give specific assistance to vulnerable asylum seeker and refugee women, to provide them with legal protection.
