Toonspeak provides drama and theatre activities for young people aged 11 to 25 living in the North of Glasgow. They aim to challenge territorialism by bringing together people from different areas and backgrounds, helping them develop new skills and gain confidence.

Participant feedback from the drama workshop sessions outlines the difference the project makes:

“I used to be aggressive, in 1st year I used to have anger management classes. My teacher recommended I come here, and I'm not aggressive anymore.”

“I do think I'm a better person since I started coming to Toonspeak. If I see somebody getting bullied now, I would say something, especially if it was a younger person. I'm more confident now.”

“I'm applying for jobs at the moment - coming to Toonspeak has made interviews easier.
