The Pollokshields & Southside Central Community Planning Partnership (LCPP) area covers the two new council multi-member wards of Pollokshields and Southside Central.  It includes the neighbourhoods of  Pollokshields, Strathbungo, Shawlands, Govanhill, Crosshill, Laurieston, Hutchesontown, Oatlands and Toryglen and has a population of around 50,000 persons. It is one of the ten local CPP areas in Glasgow.

Together with the Langside and Linn LCPP, Pollokshields & Southside Central forms the South East area. The South East area is served locally by a dedicated team of staff from Glasgow Community Planning Ltd.
