The Maryhill, Kelvin & Canal Local Community Planning Partnership (LCPP) area includes the neighbourhoods of Maryhill, Possilpark, Milton, Firhill, Ruchill, Lambhill, Parkhouse, Cadder, Summerston Acre, North Kelvin and Kelvindale and has a population of 56,300 persons (10% of the total city population). It is one of the ten local CPP areas in Glasgow.

Together with the Glasgow North East LCPP, Maryhill, Kelvin & Canal forms the North Area, which is served locally by a dedicated team of staff from Glasgow Community Planning Ltd.  

This section reports on the work of the Maryhill, Kelvin & Canal Community Planning Partnership and the decision making of the local Board.
