The East Centre and Calton Local Community Planning Partnership (LCPP) area covers the two new council multi-member wards of East Centre and Calton, and has a population of just under 49,000 persons. It is one of the ten local CPP areas in Glasgow.

Together with the Shettleston, Baillieston & Greater Easterhouse LCPP, East Centre & Calton forms the East area. The East area is served locally by a dedicated team of staff from Glasgow Community Planning Ltd.
